Intro to Macrame (put on by Mind and Macrame) is a beginner friendly workshop space that teaches curious minds the groundwork of macrame and intentional art! A complimentary small batch mocktail (lavender lemonade) will be provided. BYOB is encouraged.

What is macrame? Macrame is the art of creating a concept with fiber materials in the form of knots tied by hand! Unlike crotchet and knitting, tools are used sparingly and all knots are formed by hand. Macrame is a versatile craft and can be utilized to make bags, jewelry, clothing, planters or a practice of mindfulness and therapy.

Attendees can anticipate a supportive and beginner friendly environment.

Mind and Macrame will provide ALL materials and tools. Participants will create and take home a pair of 2 (two) macrame coasters.

There will be a small batch homemade lavender lemonade (mocktail) in addition to light snacks.

Katherine will guide participants through fundamentals as we practice our knots together, as attendees are ready they will begin their projects independently. As needed guidance and answered questions will be provided. Find yourself comforted by the company or utilized this workshop as a place to melt stress.
